Drawing and classification
Drawing for International Masters’ Speed Skating Competitions will be done according to ISU Rule 244 for Drawing at International Competitions. For ISU rule 244, paragraphs 4, 5 and 6 apply, as well as ISU Rule 240 paragraph 4, with the following three exceptions:
- On the first three distances all 5 years groups will be joined together for drawing (women and men separately)
- All competitors will be admitted to the last distance
- The final distance drawing, classification and final ranking will be done in separate 5 years age groups independent of the number of participants per age group. However, skaters in adjacent groups with an odd number of participants, who in this case would skate alone on the last distance, maybe paired together on the last distance.
The skater that completes all distances successfully and obtains the lowest total of points in his/her five-year age group wins the four-distance competition in her/his age group.
Seeding
For Masters’ International Allround Games, the skaters will be seeded in groups of 6 skaters for the draw, according to their best times of the current season, their best times of last season or their personal best times (and in that order).
Prizes and Results of the Four-Distance Combination
For the four-distance combination, the first three competitors of each age group will be awarded a prize. All participants that finish all four distances of the competition successfully, without being disqualified, obtain a certificate.
A complete protocol (containing lap times and final times) will be published on the website https://stavangersandnes.no/:/stasa/:/Mag2025.html and on the WhatsApp group, Master Allround Games: https://chat.whatsapp.com/GVdM1h3tQ1U5nEGZMc6GWx.
